About Us
Darfur Women Action Group is a frontline advocacy and humanitarian organization responding to the crisis in Sudan. We deliver on-the-ground support, document human rights abuses, and mobilize global action to protect civilians and drive accountability.
Stand with Sudan
Follow DWAG’s updates, share information, amplify Sudanese voices, and take part in our letters, petitions, and other campaigns.
Urgent Action
When urgent developments affect civilians in Sudan, DWAG shares ways for people to respond.
Rapid Response
Receive updates, testimonies, and calls for action from DWAG and share them with your communities when attention is needed.
We believe women are not simply victims, but also agents of change and leaders within their communities.
Emergency Humanitarian Assistance and Protection
DWAG is providing evacuation, food and medical assistance to 260,000 families across Darfur; documenting gender-based violence; and providing trauma counseling.
South Kordofan Women and Children Protection
DWAG provides community-based protection services, child safeguarding interventions, advocacy, and early warning mechanisms in South Kordofan, establishing women’s empowerment centers; conducting rapid needs assessments; equipping the community with tools to respond to risks affecting children.
